Dogs and rain

It's been raining on and off recently. How are your dogs doing with the wet floor, thunder, enhanced and new scents?

1. Scared of the thunder. 2. Use to the wetness after we were in a no choice situation. - One refused to put on the raincoat. - One now loves the raincoat. 3. Confused whether to release a stool on the wet outdoor floor. Yours?

Must dogs don't really like wet floor, but it's also natural they don't walk in the rain. Getting dogs used to wet floor is also part for puppy training, exposure exposure exposure! Can't rush it though. It's sensory overload for some - sounds, scent, visual, touch, and everything else that they're not regularly exposed to. Cooper would pee but would quickly stand under a tree when it rains and we're at the park. He will hold his poo for as long as he could though. So sometimes, it is a good idea to train dog to go appropriate spots indoor since most live in apartments.
